What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a natural state of relaxation. Hypnosis happens everyday without even realising that you are in hypnosis. You could be absorbed in a very good book, watching your favorite TV program, listening to your favorite music, so much so you didn't even hear the phone ring, or even the door bell, it can also be perceived like been in a dream state.
Some people describe hypnosis like been in a meditative state. This meditative state is safe and while within this stage the subconscious mind is able to access the stored knowledge needed to assist in dealing with difficult issues past and present and facilitate the process for positive changes to take place.
Hypnosis is a process that is safe and you can leave the hypnotic state at anytime feeling in complete control.
Can Anyone Be Hypnotised?
Yes they can but only if they want to be and therefore not against there will.
The main perception and fear that people have of hypnosis is the thought that their mind will be under the control of the hypnotist.
In reality you are in total control and furthermore if you choose not to respond to suggestions put forward then you can simply bring yourself out of hypnosis.
